This guy was a ROCK. He's under 10 VP$IP, with a PFR of 3.13.

I dont have any hands of him in PT however, he never won a hand. I won't be the last one to tell you I was a little nuts for bluffing this guy out, but I was fed up in getting dealt good hands and not seeing flops. So why not pretend like you're catching flops? This would only work though on a tight table with not too many Loopys in the hand. Called down by bottom pair by a Loopy is not very uncommon when reraised preflop, they assume you were bluffing. He also took a lot of time to call my raise on the flop and bet on the turn. Easy tell to think he has a marginal hand/low pair and doesnt want to risk the money.

just another example...

Absolute Poker 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, A.
1 fold, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero caps, Button calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) 9, Q, 6 (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (5.75 BB) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.75 BB) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB
Main Pot: 7.75 BB, won by Button.
Pot 2: 1 BB, returned to Button.

Results in white below:
Button doesn't show.
Outcome: Button wins 8.75 BB.

hmmm maybe i shoulda made the crying call...9:1 odds. ah well very few players are capable of raising the river without better than top pair.

playing overcards seems to be one of my bigger weak points right now. if you bet out on the turn, and they raise do you fold?

if they call the turn bet, do you bet the river again?

if you bet the river, and they raise, do you make a crying call?

this is assuming a raggy flop, and blank turn and river cards.

AK isn't typical over-cards. Worse hands will call you down often enough to take it to showdown. Position helps here though because it makes for an easier river decision.

Sometimes, depends on the opponent.

Against a passive/typical opponent bet and fold to a raise. Against an aggressive opponent check/call to draw a bluff.
