PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is SB with 7 , 7 .
UTG calls, MP raises, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls.
pretty good implied odds, everyone has to call the raiser.
Flop: (10 SB) 7 , 6 , 3 (5 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP folds, CO calls.
well kinda sucks how coordinated the board was. but i figured i had just as many outs to make my full house as someone to make their straight.
Turn: (7 BB) 5 (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG raises, CO calls, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, UTG caps, CO calls, Hero calls.
would a check raise been better here instead of betting out? the reraise was a risky move, but at this point i know someone has a straight, or drawing to the flush, might as well maximize my winnings if i hit.
River: (20 BB) 3 (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, CO calls.
YES! i know they won't fold, so i bet out hoping someone will raise so i can reraise.
Final Pot: 29 BB
Main Pot: 29 BB, between CO, Hero and UTG. > Pot won by Hero (29 BB).
Results in white below:
Hero has 7d 7h (full house, sevens full of threes).
UTG has 4c Ad (straight, seven high).
CO has Ac 9c (flush, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins 29 BB.
mainly my question is whether it was a better option to bet out on the flop and turn, or to check raise both to try to kick people out?
