    Default Blinds Blinds Blinds

Guess I'm out of practice, my blinds are kiiiilling me. So in an effort to figure out why...

Whats your VPIP/PFR out of the BB and SB?
How many BB's are you losing per hand?

My stats are as follows, would be interesting to see how it compares. Blind play is one on a very long list of my leaks that need plugging

This is from 45k hands and 9k each of BB and SB.

    BB /SB
    VPIP 18.3% / 34.3%
    PFR 8.3% / 13%
    Win % 24.7% / 13.8%
    BB/hand (0.19) / (0.09)

    Amount won w/o blind: 2.40bb/100

    Big Blind
    VPIP: 27.19

Don't mean to be picky, but is that per 100 hands? My PT stats show it per hand so would be a loss of 19bb /100. That is a serious leak for me by comparison if that is the case. I steal from the BB a lot... folded round and SB limps.. I'm in steal mode. BY this comparison, I might have to seriously re evaluate

Looks like we need forum-wide blind play help. Its such a tricky thing, but there are definitely rules to follow.

I've been reading posts from that **cough**other forum **cough** but blind play seems so situationally dependent. Not really sure what we could do.

OK, a starter... KQo in the BB is killing me. Any comments on the following general strategy that I tend to use?

Firstly, I am very passive with it pre flop. If it's multi-way, I am normally just checking and seeing what the flop brings. My reasoning being that no one is folding to a raise now and out of position, without an Ace, I am not very comfortable. I will tend to call one raise multiway but will 3 bet it with a steal attempt from Button and sometimes CO.

On the flop, I am mostly fit or fold, especially if an Ace flops. I will peel one if there is no Ace and the pot warrants it. If I hit, I am normally betting out. I don't think people respect the strength of the kicker from BB. I occasionally C/R if there is an aggro who I am fairly sure will bet. (but I prefer the 3 bet option if he raises my bet).

I think I may be being to0 passive with it and that's why it's costing me. How are others playing this hand from BB? Let me know if you want some hand examples for comparison.
