Opponent has a 50/17 split. Probably would be a winner if he didn't call so much. Can get out-of-line aggro post-flop, but isn't predictable.

Villain is 42/17... way outta line post flop, but catching and WAY up.
I put his range here as "2 cards" maybe less.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Same fishing hole, same game. Back up to a full 10 players.
I have A 4 from MP2
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, I just can't bring nerve to fuck up a good game by raising so I just call, HJ calls, CO folds (boo), BN folds (hiss), SB completes, BB checks and it's off the races!
8 to the flop $23 in the pot
4 7 A
Checked to UTG+2 who bets, MP1 calls, I raise, blinds fold, UTG folds, everyone else calls. Weeeeee
5 to the turn $51.50 in the pot.

Checked, to me and I bet, call, all-in, UTG+2 raises (sneaky bastard), MP1 cold donks, I call and everyone follows to the river!
$79.10 main $24.71 side, 5 to the river.
