As I play 6 max limit holdem I find myself guessing from the blinds against raises from various positions. Is there a standard guideline that can be used as the ground work of proper blind preflop play. Any advice on blind defense would be helpful. Thanks

 Yes, the standard guideline would be to play about 50k hands in the blinds against a myriad of opponents putting yourself in numerous situations. You would then sit down and analyze these hands.

If you're playing at 1/2 and under I really wouldn't concern myself with "blind defense" as these players do not even understand these concepts. I doubt anyone can limit a response to such a complex topic. This question has been brought up numerous times in this forum. I would suggest searching for past topics, reading through them, and analyzing them. I would then suggest for you to post some HH's with reads in blind defense/stealing situations.
