Full Tilt 0.25/0.5 Hold'em (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is BB with K , A .
7 folds, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls.
Flop: (11.40 SB) 4 , 7 , 8 (2 players)
SB bets, Hero.......
-> Im thinking this could be a spewy area for me . Creating large pots heads up preflop, missing then calling the flop then folding the turn UI. In this example should I be raising this bet?
Logic for either side says:
-Fold because you completely missed and his cap then bet on the flop says I have something and I have no draw, redraw or pair
-Call because he had the lead preflop and hes betting almost any flop, especially safer looking ones like this
-Raise because hes betting any flop after being the pre flop aggressor so I need to play back at him because my hand could be best right now calling or folding is too passive and easily exploitable
ex#2) This is slightly different but similar message:
Full Tilt 0.25/0.5 Hold'em (8 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with , .
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls.
Flop: (8.40 SB) , , (2 players)
SB bets, Hero.....
-Im not sure if Im getting 3-bet/capped unusually frequently lately or If Im playing wayy too passive postflop with my missed hands. Any ideas?

hand 1, see a turn. Whether you raise here on the flop and try for a free card or not is up to you. At .25/.5, probably not.
Fold hand two, SBs reraise preflop signals more strength than SBs raise in hand one does due to positional aspects.

Hand 1) I sometimes take this to showdown UI but I need a read on my opponent to do this. Some will cap A9+, others will only cap TT+ in a blind war. At .25/50 I'm more inclined to expect the latter, so probably fold the turn UI.
Hand 2) Without a read I play fit or fold when I raise and get 3bet. On the surface we have 6 outs to TP which is enough getting 9:1, but if we are dominated we will have 3 outs or less, and hitting one of our 'outs' could prove expensive.

Neither of those flops is very safe. Both are 2-suited and connected. Granted that would be more dangerous multiway than HU like this, and presumably he's not capping/3-betting with the low cards that would make a straight. He's entitled to have a flush draw or a big pair, but there's a pretty good chance you have six outs (which I would discount to 5 because you don't know which pair of which big cards he might have).
I hate these hands because of the whiff factor and because they come up so often. If these hands are a leak then they are a big leak due to frequency. If you can fold UI on the turn then the magnitude isn't that bad.
I would call both of those and fold UI. If he had *not* 3-bet or raised then I might take a shot on the turn...likely one of my leaks.
