You called on the river why?
|

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

The betting was capped ( one thing I really don't like about PR is that they refer to raising as "betting").

so was it only a year ago you were playing 1/2 and have since moved to 8 tabling 30/60, or did you just move down to play for nostalgia's sake?

Do a search and find out. You'll be surprised how far I've come in so little a time.
1/2 to 30/60 in what 12 months?

BB bets, UTG+1 raises, Silverfist calls, BB calls.
River: (24.75 BB) 9 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Silverfist calls, BB calls.
Final Pot: 27.75 BB

Poker champs doesn't offer hand hostories but i once picked up a $22 pot playing 25c/50c but that was a while back. I had j/10 off and 5 players limped in before me. I bet and every single player that had already put money in called. Ended up floping the nut str8 and got into a raising war with some of the other players
