fold/raise the flop? Even if you have the best hand for now, you're letting 2 opponents to draw out against you.

I dont really think a raise will accomplish anything meaningful.

I think this is a very easy fold on the flop. The pot isn't nearly big enough to call for your 2 outer.

Yes, and I am leaning to a fold if SB is average loose passive player.

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
I dont see how calling this flop is any good. I'm either raising or folding. I think SB donks here alot with a 6 or a smaller pocket pair moreso than he does the T.

Anyone else flip a coin to limp/fold preflop? I'd need a bit more than 7s to raise UTG.

euph--if this hand is representative of how you play pairs such as this one on these kinds of flops, I believe it's a significant leak in your game.

I won't say too much about the raise UTG with 77, except that I'd think in all but a few very tight, tight games this is an error. That you got 3 callers is the beginning of a suggestions that this wasn't the right game for that kind of hyperaggressiveness, but of course one hand isn't conclusive.

As to the hand on the given flop: You're beaten. When the player in front of you bets into your pf raise AND three opponents AND the pregnant JT flop, it's time to go. If you're behind you're calling with 2 outs, so the pot odds are all wrong, and to make it worse you've got 2 players behind you who may raise. If you're ahead you have to raise (if they didn't hit the flop both coldcallers probably have two overcards each), but the chance you're ahead has to be something like ten-fifteen percent or so, and you may get 3 bet anyway by a bigger hand or even a draw. And even when you're ahead, you won't fold an openended straight draw, so you get stuck there as well, particularly since that kind of draw is also likely to have two overcards given the preflop action--making that player about even money to beat you by the river.

When two broadway overcards to your pocket pair come on a multiway flop and, especially when you get bet into, folding is a very, very clear. Calling here is a huge leak.

I agree I need to fold this postflop. My question was is it a *big* leak, or a minor trickle. Apparently its the former.

I fold here to a donk. I think this can be a big leak. A lot of people peel the flop with various hands without considering the pot size, and having no plan for the turn.

I agree with the majority. At this level, in any case, those sevens are too vulnerable....especially with residing maniacs around. Fold 'em!
