Preflop: Hero is Button with :as, :kc.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 4 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (7 SB) :kh, :6h, :ad (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (5 BB) :jh (3 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, UTG+1 calls $0.50 (All-In).

River: (10.50 BB) :4d (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Js Jd (three of a kind, jacks).
UTG+1 has Td Qs (straight, ace high).
Hero has As Kc (two pair, aces and kings).
Outcome: UTG+1 wins 9.50 BB. SB wins 3 BB.


Anyone play this differently?

he was shortstacked...it happens...move on, this is not needed no where but the bad beat section of the forums if you really need to post things like this...you didn't ask for any information about the hand, you just posted it...so delete it and stop making bad beat posts and just play your game...things like this happen...you played the hand perfect and just be glad he was shortstacked cause you werent getting away from the hand obviously if you are posting it now...
back looking to make some moolah

This hand is about as standard as you can get. There's simply nothing to discuss here.

The fact the you posted it shows that you're being extremely results oriented and that is probably a leak in a your game.

Ive been having bad luck with AK recently. I was just looking over my last 1000 hands (all ive got since i registered poker tracker) and lost with it every time ive hit a pair.

Nice hand though, nothing you could do, your lucky the guy with JJ didnt sucker more money out of you.
