PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, K.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 3 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 8, A, T (6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (7 BB) Q (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (15 BB) A (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB


Any problems with the way i played it? or should i have been 3-betting the flop and turn?

You have a very big hand. I would consider check-raising the flop, but with nobody showing aggression pre-flop that could be dangerious.

Betting out on the flop, and getting raised with so many callers, I 3-bet for value.

I also 3-bet the turn for value.

I would also consider raising preflop. You have KJs in the BB with 5 limpers before you--you probably have an edge.

3 bet the turn you got the nuts with a nut FD you might was well get as much money in as possible... I say to 3 bet the turn to basically get money in the pot while you’re 100% correct that you’re ahead… any board pair can spell big trouble…

That only works if you can drop the hammer on a later street... can't do that in LHE, MP is likely to call your 3bet, get one more in while you can
