I think about 3/4 of my overall profit comes from weekends that coincide with the end of a month. I figure a lot of people get a paycheque, go online and gamble away whatever they can afford to, then drop out until the next payday. Just seems like the number of people playing with no clue is substantially higher around these times.

Here's a hand from today. feel free to comment on my play if you want, but it's hard to do much wrong against these guys really...

agreed. Saturday lunchtime in New Zealand is about midnight Friday in Europe. And it's a great time to play. Here's a couple of examples from about five minutes ago. Just for context, this is micro-micro limit poker = 0.10-0.20 and the villain had lost about $20 in the last 30 hands, showing down in capped pots with gems like 27o unimproved... I felt a little bad taking his money, but if I didn't someone else would have (I only got $7 of his donations but could have been less if i hadn't changed my play cos of the table dynamic). He left soon after cos some player who thought he knew how to play was abusing him (this idiot who cost me money by scaring the uber-gambler away is about 40-3-0.67 and -$10 over around 300 hands at this limit. I tried getting him to shut up, told him how bad he was and that he just got lucky, etc but he wanted to gloat and abuse...

hand 1) for the record, i would sometimes be hesitant about playing non-nut flushes so hard, but not here...

ok, got a problem. Found the same player spewing chips at 0.25-0.50
I have an ops thread project going. And a big part is starting with only a very little money and sticking to tight bankroll rules. But he is donating so generously and has $40 left at the table (he left the last table with about $65 and I just saw him showing down in mp with 63o..)
what should I do?!?
Update. Waitlisted. If I get a good seat I play the table. Uber-tight except against the gambler. He left the table before I got there. Hopefully i find him back down the levels...

DD, that is one good thing I miss about limit. The donkeys are so disillusioned into thinking they play good because they can't lose that much in one hand. They just keep coming back for more.

Sadly, in NL a donkey will lose a stack or two, and then not reload. Sometimes never coming back to the game ever again. Like this guy that I played a few weeks ago, haven't seen him sitting at any table since this hand...
