Hey can someone please tell me a wise bankroll mgmt practice for plo? I've heard 50 buy ins.... geez! plus I'm guessing that's at 100bb's? what would it be for "shallow" buy ins of 40? Any adjustment for rush omaha?
Cheers

50 is low, probably OK for micros
more for shallow, money goes in more and edge probably lower
welcome to plo!
rush should not matter in br terms

I would say RUSH you might want to consider upping your # of buyins if you usually have the stoploss mentality. Like in hold 'em people often have a 3 buyin stoploss or something. Well you're doing so many hands in a short time period that you can cruise through 3 buyins very very quickly, so I'd prefer to have a higher # of buyins and give myself maybe 5 buyins.
Playing short in Omaha you can definitely drop quite a few stacks in a row, often without the tilt-factor I find, but if you use a stoploss, consider that you may hit it incredibly fast. - Note I've only done Holdem RUSH, not PLO RUSH.
Just a thought.

Man, I'd be afraid to play with less than 100 buyins. If I couldn't afford to go busto, I'd want more. I'm definitely a BR nit though.
