If you are going to fold anywhere, fold preflop. Otherwise reraise the flop.

Pre-flop: Fold to a raise with KQs?

Flop: There were many people to act after me so I thought someone might bet his flush draw. I was prepared to flop if a 3rd spade hit and saw action. Guess I got a little greedy. I kinda wanted somebody to have flopped a flush draw but miss ot on th turn and river :P

Sorry, I read your post wrong, I thought you folded on the flop. I said 'If you are going to fold anywhere' (with the thought that you folded on the flop) which doesn't make sense because you folded on the turn. I think its a good fold there with 2 bets to you. You aren't going to improve your hand and you may be dominated.

PS. Try to put those in the hand converter

Preflop: Fold or Raise. I probably fold. I hate the Cold Call with only 1 other person in already and a lot of people to act behind you.

Flop: Slowplaying your flopped nut straight with 2 suited cards in a multiway pot is a terrible mistake. With only one person to act on a scary coordinated board you have to bet out. You get Raised, you 3-bet/cap his ass. You can't really protect your hand here but you can't be giving free cards.

Turn: I can't see folding the turn even to two bets. You have the Nut straight with a flush out there. Yes you may be beat with a flush, but there's also a good chance that someone just got 2 pair with that Ace. I call the 2 bets and only think about folding if it is 2 bets back to me either on the turn or the river.

I agree. That was a bad fold in my opinion. I might even reraise him on the turn. If he then reraises me back I consider folding, but probably not. I'm in this one until showdown, at which point if he has a flush I say "Hey man, nice hand. I flopped a nut straight". I think you let this guy off the hook.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?

I agree with pre flop folding or raising (tend to raise) and betting out the flop. (cant really put me on a straight so they'll pay me off anyway).

But after on the turn I think it was good to fold that.

If we assume that all goes "well" (that is I call, next guy calls 2 cold!? and first guy calls, then the raiser bets and we all call...)
I have to pay a total of 2 BB on the turn and 1 more on the river to show this down. Thats the best case and I could pay that since I am like only 95% sure that I lose...
But probably guy next to me will fold. Also first guy might 3-bet if he is the one with the flush and it it might be even 2 more back to me before the river.

You guys were right about pre-flop and flop but its a clear fold to me on the turn. If that was river I would of course call but on the turn, not really.

Preflop – I might have raised, but I guess a call from early position could be justified

Flop – you flopped a 9-K straight and checked WTF are you thinking here there is a flush draw out there you need to bet out here and hope it isolates somewhat, IMO

Turn – also I think I would bet out here especially to see if I got raised or not to gage where my hand stood, you know have a A-high straight, why not value bet the hand to see if it’s good or not? If you bet the flop and they only call and the action stays the same then I calculate my odds of having the best hand v the pot and make the play witch think would be to fold here IF you had bet the flop and got simply callers, you let those flush draws have the card to bet you for free so I can’t agree with that play, really you have to fold the turn the way it went down, IMO it looks to much like one of them has the flush…

River – (hypnotically specking) given you bet the flop and got caller and they didn’t come out firing into you like they did and you bet out got a caller a raiser you decide to obviously call the raise, the river comes a Jc which has potential to be a scary card IFF (if and only if) you the caller on the turn come out strong… but for the most part I would call a single bet on the river…

So over all I think the hand was played wrong, which forced you to make a fold that typically you don’t want to, if anyone has an opinion on what have said please tell me…
