New cardroom opens up 1/2 mile from my appt in a decently nice casino, I decide to check out the 2/4 game. Players are typically better than you would see down on the strip as it is a bunch of locals who aren't there hammered and aren't there just to gamble. And heeeerrreeee we go....
Hand 1:
9handed
Hero is Button with JdTh--BB is main villain
1 fold, 5 calls, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks
Flop(8SB): AcKd5c
SB donks, BB calls, 3-4callers, Hero calls
Turn(7BB): Qc
SB checks, BB bets, 2 calls, Hero raises, SB folds, 2 calls, BB calls
River (15BB): 4h
BB donks, two folds, Hero...?
Anyone think I can raise here? In the end I just called, is not raising losing value?
Hand 2:
Some background on villains, both are 50 yr old women who will can with any draw but will never lead w/out a good hand. Table had wound down to 5 players
5handed
Hero is button with Jc9d
1 call, Hero calls, Sb folds, BB checks
Flop(3.5SB): 8s10s5d
BB bets, CO calls, Hero raises, BB calls, CO calls
Turn(4.5BB): 10d
BB checks, CO checks, Hero...?
betting here a bad play?
Felt nice to get back to playing live poker, this night also funded my sports betting experience as I turned 20BBs into 55BBs. I love these 2/4 games, I can play poorly(which I felt I did) and still win money.

OK, so those hands were boring, I realize that now. I just remembered one which was much trickier. I actually wasn't sure how much value I got out of this one.
Villain is a passive nit, honestly, I've seen this person check/call a set all the way down. CO is villain.
Here's the hand:
Hero is button with AsKc
4calls, 2 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls, 5 calls
Flop(14SB): AcKs2c
5 checks, CO DONKS, Hero raises, 5 FOLDS, CO calls
---ok, wth was I thinking, and wth does CO donk with?
Turn(9BBs): 6c
CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls
---not afraid of a flush as this type of player doesnt know how to bet draws on the flop
River (13BBs):Kh
CO bets, Hero raises, CO 3bets, Hero caps, CO calls
Final Pot: 21BBs
Results in white:
Hero shows: AsKc
CO shows: Kd2d
Here is my big question: how bad was my flop raise? I know I protected my hand but did it really need it? I had the backdoor nutflush draw so I wasn't too afraid of peeling a club on the turn as I would have a decent amount of outs on the river.

hand 1: I still like the raise
hand 2: You raised for a free card, take it.
hand 3: Take out results as they will skew interpretation. You didn't into a cap war in early streets, so i believe you're good here.

Hand1
I think that calling is fine. He hasn't check/calling hand, so he'll much more often raise you, than call you with weaker hand
Hand2
I thought that you raised for free card? Considering your opponents description, folding equity is very low...

You actually can't protect your hand on the flop, since the pot is too big. Every str8 chaser has almost good enough pot odds. (Which means that he has sufficient implied odds) And if one player calls, other chasers have an easy call.
So if you wanted to protect your hand, you should call on flop and raise on turn.
I think that your flop raise was pretty bad, since you've lost some bets from players with Axs, Kxs and pocket pairs...
