Ick. Before I get to worried, though, I should point at that I completed zero flushes with any of those losing ones (have 10-14 hands with each). Probably I should just wait a bit, complete a couple, and then see. But consider this a thread for general AXs discussion at 1/2 and 2/4

you can cold call these hands pre flop if (1) you are in LP, (2) the pot is already multiway, giving you good odds, and (3) you don't think it will be re-raised pre flop. cold calling increases your short term variance but you are getting technically correct odds so it should even out in the long run.
MP first to act, i fold.
LP first to act, go for a blind steal.
almost any ace is worth playing in a pure blind defense situation, as long as the button is not a total rock.
