Villain seemed decent, but I guess this is more about the general spot v's anyone bar an idiot/maniac. How should this actually be played?

bet the turn so you can jam river, as played against this bet size shove all day people will snap-pot the nuts here so you can safely value jam. That's just something you'll pick up by playing more and more.

Yeah I'd usually bet any D when checked too, let alone the 8.

I'm pretty tempted to keep raising on flop, we have tons of outs but no idea what we want to hit. And SB could have say J5/T5 maybe with a gutter and fold, leaving us just in against MP clown with the best hand.

Thats it. In HE I'd be happy to get in, but it just seems like I see a lot of people over-playing non-nut flushes/flush draws. Makes me nervous when I dont have the A high flush/draw.

If MP2 pots the turn you should often fold.

Back to flop

if someone has the NFD you'll have them beat almost always plus have have blockers. sometimes you'll see like QQ with the Ax draw but usually those hands would raise pre. having a non nut flush is often bad, but having a non nut flush draw is almost always good. And you are probably underestimating the value of TP.

I ran some random numbers. Sometimes it will be three way and life will suck, but sometimes it will be like two pair vs Q high wrap vs you are fist pumping

Hmm, I cant remember now, but I think that must have been a misclick. At the least I'd normally make it 30 if not pot.
