Any thoughts on where best to play when starting out at a new level? I'm finding on 3-6 PP that I get raised out of everything at the higher ave pot tables, but can hold my own and even be the bully at the bottom end.

I've found that the avg pot size, when finding new tables, means absolutely nothing. After 30-40 hands that number is typically right in the middle of the pack. I try to find players that I have played against before, and know that they play like morons.
Is that guy still part of the forum??

yup, a game might go from folding the blinds around, to 3 way capped betting because a player or 2 decided to hit the GAMboOL button

I prefer to sit in short handed ring games, where the fish usually like to gather in, since I haven't played on PP very long, I don't have stats or notes or anything on most players.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately
