Hand 1: Raise that flop, way too may combined outs against you to slowplay your 'monster.'

Hand 2: 3 Bet preflop and stop being tricky. You don't have to against the average idiot blind stealer raising any 2.

Hand 3: Fold preflop, saves you a heap of trouble.

hand 1: it's because there were so many combined outs i decided to delay my edge. everyone's calling a flop raise.

hand 2: didn't know J9s is a 3betting hand. i'll try that next time.

hand 3: yeh...

think of it as every blind defending hand as a 3bet. It makes your life so much easier IMO. After you start getting a feel of defending then mix in calling.

Sometimes, you're just not going to be able to protect a hand. This is one of those cases. The bettor is on your left and there's 15 small bets in there, so no one's going to fold to your turn raise, either. Just build up the pot while you're probably ahead and make them pay to draw out on you. Plus, you'll get a better sense of where the bettor stands if he 3-bets you here, rather than getting capped on the turn like that, and maybe he'll even get someone to fold for you.
