Live 3/6 Hold'em

Table is loose-aggressive, 10-handed

I'm in MP+2 with

3 limpers to me so I limp as well, CO folds, button calls, SB completes, BB checks

Flop comes

Checked to player in MP (loose maniac could have anything) who bets, I raise for value and to protect my hand, button (loose aggressive) calls, EP+1 (loose passive) calls, MP calls

Turn is

Checked to me so I bet, button raises (I can't put him on 10's or 8's because he'd raise with both those hands preflop, so I'm thinking he's got 2 pair and he thinks I've got TPTK; he and I had a similar hand a couple days ago when I DID have TPTK and played it the same way. Also can't put him on the nut straight because it would have come gutshot.), EP+1 calls (I'm sure he's on a flush draw now, and he's going to pay to draw), MP folds with some consternation, I re-raise, button caps (now I'm not so sure about him not having the str8), EP+1 calls, I call.

River is

EP+1 checks, I bet, button raises, EP+1 folds, I call

I show my 3 6's
button shows 97o for the str8

What were you thinking? You should have folded on the flop to his 4 outer.
