$25 PLO 6 handed

Table is way over aggro, there is a maniac opening every pot IF non-opened.

I have been playing tight and have a $75 stack, I cover all. All stacks are at least $20.

Maniac is in the SB.

Hero is CO with :Ad: :Ac:

2 calls, Hero calls, BTN calls, SB completes(son of a god damned bitch) BB checks.

Flop ($1.50):

SB checks, BB donks $.25, UTG immediately raises pot to $2, 1 fold, Hero calls, all fold.

Turn ($6.75):
UTG bets $6.75, Hero calls

River ($20.25):
UTG bets all-in ($15), Hero folds

i don't mind preflop. got unlucky the maniac didn't raise. But you gotta fold the flop. You've got no low on a flop that's going to generate a low like 70% of the time (as it did). It's also bet and raised. So if you're going to play your high strength better be huge. Which frankly isn't. You could well be drawing to 2 outs. And you're always facing huge implied odds if a low hits and the nut low puts pressure on you (like he did there).

Flop call is suicidal. Turn could be a raise all in against the right opponent, but with no read, fold.

Preflop good, but I fold the flop too. Drawing to flushes on a paired board can get you into a lot of trouble. Especially after a bet and a raise.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I thought this was PLO8.

I this case, I think you need reads on UTG. Pushing the flop, or pushing the turn, is not that bad. Folding is still fine

Yea, I keep mixing it up on you guys. I think from now on Im just going to play Limit 8b and PLO Hi.

I really had no idea what to do on the turn. I was 100% certain he had a 7 and not a boat b/c I just don't see why he would be potting so quickly with a FH with so many obvious draws on the board. The river seemed like an easy fold.
