Fairly simple question, if someone has already raised are you just calling with these?

No.

Reraise with AQs, default fold for AJs and KQs.

Calling a raise with AJs also depends on your feel for the opps and your sitting in the blinds... and a great flop. In this hand, I was ready to call MP's raise because through the game he would raise anything connected suited or not. Button was a dumbass, A or K high he would reraise to steal (hence the flop raise). I had to play AJs for the flush/straight because I figured one of them was weak... I didn't know I had both dominated preflop. Rail on my preflop all you please, but my call was very read dependent.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, A.
4 folds, MP3 raises, 1 fold, Button 3-bets, Hero calls, BB calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 9, Q, K (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP3 bets, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, MP3 caps, Button calls all-in, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: (13 BB) 4 (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, MP3 calls.

River: (15 BB) 3 (3 players)
Hero bets, MP3 raises, Hero raises all-in, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 19 BB

Results in white below:
MP3 has Th Jh (straight, king high).
Button has Ah 2s (high card, ace).
Hero has Jc Ac (flush, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins 19 BB.

Hmm... there's a problem with someone going all in... I fixed the HH

Calling one cold is bad, calling 2 is real bad. I can see a case for AQs but AJs in this case will lose you money. If your read was really that dependant then you need to cap this preflop.

I hate cold calling as much as everyone else here, but you're right, capping the flop was the better option than calling 2.5SB in the small blind.

short handed I'll cap with these hands, but ring game I tighten way up.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

Personally, I'd agree to 3-bet AQs and fold KQs but I'm not sure about folding AJs against a raise if most of the following conditions are met:
1. You are in late position.
2. The raiser is on your right but still in seats 7-9 in a full ring game.
2. The raiser tends to be loose/aggressive as he may well be betting KQs, KJs, ATs, or even QJs. TT and 99 are also possible raising hands in these positions.
3. There are likely to be no reraises onyour left.
4. There are likely to be 3 or fewer players seeing the flop.

Just my opinion. I'm frequently wrong, but I'm always learning.

I find myself 3-betting all 3 more often these days. It depends...
