5th hand at table, and all the opponents that stayed in I have no PokerTracker data on. So aside from seeing some loose play from the table in general on the previous four hands, I had nothing else to go on.

I just found this to be an unusual (and amusing in its results) hand. Other than sharing it for that sake alone, was the line I followed standard enough?

No, the pot is way too big and there is a chance I could have the best hand.

To answer the other repliers, I wussed out on the river. The four spades scared me. Granted, CO was pretty passive and most likely wouldn't have raised me.

I don't think clarkmeister applies here since 2 players are all in and you are playing for a huge pot.
You can't simply fold to a raise on the river, you want to showdown.
While clarkmeister is right in most situations, it is incorrect if your opponent will raise a hand that you beat more that pot odds dictates you call.
You would be getting almost 23 to 1 to call his raise, so if he is capable of bluffing 5% of the time, you have to call anyway.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Opponent would not raise here without a spade. Also, you want to build this side pot.
