Hand #1: I am tempted to reraise the flop here. the flop did not help you, but there is a low chance that it helped your opponent, since most Omaha players do not play hands that contain 22,33,92,93,23 to a PFR, so 99 is your only real concern here, and other then a low str8 draws there are no draws here. I would not be surprised at all to see villian with KK here

Hand#2: I would fold this preflop, the only thing it has going for it preflop is the suited A, and it is not worth a call from MP, when you will be forced to muck if raised.

Flop is fine, and the fact that nobody bets on a board with both str8 and flush draw is a good sign for you.

Your turn bet is good, you should be a bit worried by getting called on a paired board, buy you may still be ahead, I would say the most likely holding for villian is 3X, maybe with a flush or str8 draw.
Villian leads out on the river, there are a few possibilities here:
1. he has QJ, hits his str8 and think that you have trips
2. He completed his boat with KK or K3
3. He slowplayed a boat 39 or 3T
4. He slowplayed 99 or TT since the flop.

There is no real way of knowing, however you have shown strength on the turn and he led out on the river, and you have a volenurable hand, I would just call it, I dont see any hand (except maybe 39) that calls your raise and you have beat

hand 1
Don't say "AA" as you fold. It will make you a bigger target as this is what a HE player says when they "make a big laydown." HE players tend to be fresh meat for the Omaha crowd.

hand 2
You are ahead of very little that would call your bet. Then again, I don't see 99/TT checking through both the flop and turn. His lead-out says straight more than anything and he's wondering why you checked the flop with 2pair/set based on table talk. Also, fold preflop, your hand is very weak.

Definitely.

People who make a fuss about mucking AA get on my buddylist. Consider how often you flop 2 pair+ in Omaha, then realise how weak overpairs are.

Pocket aces are a very hard hand to play in Omaha, as any flop that people are willing to put much money into will certainly involve a 2 pair+ or decent/big draw.

My rule of thumb for mediocre aces (say like AATx single suited) is to usually limp them unless I am stealing the blinds. As for reraising, I will only do it to isolate a poor player and if I have more than naked aces and I can get a good chunk of the money in preflop. There's no sense reraising a small amount, getting people to pin you on AAxx and then having to play a medium/large pot against them..
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Any hand with 4 ten point cards (Jacks to Aces) as long as you do not have 3 of a kind(for obvious reasons).

Any hand that is suited to the Ace with 2 other ten point cards.

Any hand that is suited to the Ace and the other 2 cards total add up to 20 points or better (so J9up,Q8up,and K7up).

Intersting response, the question was actually a tease for ipjohngutti since he said fold preflop, but your answer is very insightful.

Regarding the last two options (actually same point since point 2 is covered by 3) - do you play them even if 3 or 4 are of the same suite ?

Do you play hands like QJT9, JT98 double suited ?
