If the flop came rainbow, is it reasonable to check/call the flop and check/raise the turn?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

That's a reasonable line, but I think that wins less on average than the OP's line.

The problem with this line in an unraised pot is that there's no aggressor preflop who you are pretty sure will bet 3rd and 4th street for you to check/raise, so you may lose bets this way.

Another possibility is that the flop gets checked through and there's still a draw on the turn that you can't defend against any longer or if someone will pay the flop, but not the turn with their weak draws (likely utg+1 here).

say if CO raised preflop, then the c/c,c/r line is good.
