No reads on button other than a VPIP of 40%, but its only over 30 hands so not much use.

Any guesses on his holdings?

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 4, 4.
UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero calls, 3 folds, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 8, 6, 4 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, Button raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: (7.50 BB) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

Yeah weird. The way he played it seems like a wimpy 86 that was afraid of the gutshot on the turn.

Other than that a goofily misplayed 5.

Last resort 8x that thinks you didn't bet the turn so...

I probably b/c the river.

p.s. Chris get some sun...

Hes definately full by the river, but since 66 and 86 were already guessed ill go with 88 for the quads. More likely 66 or 86 but i wanna win

The follow-up question is: is there a spot where I should be thinking about a fold?

3betting is spew as you can never fold a decent hand to a cap, and if you do it means your hand wasn't worth a 3bet in the first place.
