Why? Because you've got a guy on your left who wants to test you?

He's got tight players to his left and players willing to defend their blinds (aggressively) to his right. There's a better seat out there.

koolmoe nailed it. This is one of your best posts ever I think fnord. I get so caught up in trying to win at any table that often I end up doing the "ok this is how the table is playing, now what can I do to eke out a profit?" line of thought. The best play at many tables is to leave the table and find one where the money is easy.

I think you're facing the wrong way, but I see what you're saying.

I gotta echo that last comment. I'm primarily a B&M player ... In fact, I haven't played online in a few month. I rarely have the LUXURY of being able to change seats or tables when my game or seat sux. In fact, they have must-move rules in affect where I play, so fairly often you'll find yourself being forced to move out of a good game to shitty one and there's nothing you can do about it.
At the B&M, quite often I find myself at a shitty table and/or shitty seat with two choices ... (1) quit playing for the day, or (2) stay and try and eke out a profit in less than stellar game conditions. Almost limitless game and seat selection are a huge benefit when playing online; making good decisions in this department can make huge difference to your results. Make good use of your freedom to choose!!

1) Must-move sucks
2) Must-move NL sucks worse (Mandalay Bay)
3) Tip and be nice to the floor. Ask for a table change.
4) Seat changes are easy, I probably take an open seat for one reason or another ~30% of the time. When a fish is about to bust out, the first (or second) thought through my mind is "do I want that seat."
5) Must-move sucks

Great move, although how long does it take you to find a better seat when there are only about 4-5 open seats on the full ring at any given time (at least when I am looking at 3/6..a quick observation of 5/10 appears the same)?
This post is a good example of why I can crush Party 2/4 but I am having trouble adjusting to 3/6 and 3/6 6 max. It takes much longer at 3/6 to find an optimal seat with two fish to the right, two TAGS on the left which will allow me to steal blinds and play most blinds without a raise. My biggest losses, regardless of specific hands, are from blinds or coldcallers that call my raises, I don't hit, they hit any pair and call me to showdown.

glad to see you are playing 5/10 again. Any thoughts of at least going a little higher? possibly 15/30 full with poker-edge? The 15/30 game is so much easier that the 5/10. Theres always one good table that will give you position...
You'll be angry you went to blizzard when you find out...
