Ah, the marginal hand and an opponent with a big "I'm trying to trick you" sign on his head. I'm wondering if I played this right. I think I'm fine pre-flop and flop, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't have at least given up on the river there. Stupid ace killed my hand

I think you can let it go on the turn. The only hand here he may possibly have that doesnt have you beat givin his action is 88 or 77.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I knew he was full of it when he paused before reraising me pre-flop. It said "I'm going to try to steal your pot". Once that ace came, I should have known I was toast. If it had come on the river, I would have called, but I should have realised the RIO were way against me here.

Remember you can't really base things on how long people pause before acting online, you never know how many tables they're playing.
