Not sure why you preflop raise here. A5o isn't that strong, and you're probably not going to win much money battling in the blinds. I don't like the 3-bet on the turn either.

I can see where you were going with that preflop bet. Questionable move, but not ridiculous by any means. I may have done it myself.

Flop, good.

Turn: I put him on 2 pair here or ace-higher kicker. This may be a good time to fold as he may also have one of the 2 flush draws which you unfortunatley do not.

Let your small loss go here and use the saved chips to get a big win later.

I play it the same way pre-flop. You have position and an Ace.

Check behind on the river if you're going to 3-bet the turn. Better yet, this is a call-down or fold on the turn. Heads-up in a blind war I don't fold this without a read.

From yesterday:

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Fnord is BB with A, 5.
7 folds, SB raises, Fnord calls.

Flop: (4 SB) T, 5, 5 (2 players)
SB bets, Fnord raises, SB 3-bets, Fnord calls.

Turn: (5 BB) Q (2 players)
SB bets, Fnord raises, SB calls.

River: (9 BB) 7 (2 players)
SB bets, Fnord raises, SB 3-bets, Fnord calls.

Final Pot: 15 BB

Results in white below:
Fnord has Ac 5d (three of a kind, fives).
SB has Ks Qs (two pair, queens and fives).
Outcome: Fnord wins 15 BB.
