I wanted to keep the 3rd guy in the pot by just calling, but should i be jamming the pot on every street here since they both showed strength preflop? (i think i already know the answer to this)

With that flop (safe, no draws) I will play it 2 ways,

1) call the flop like you did, to keep both players in and to set a trap --- but on the turn its a raise always

2) raise the flop and turn --- fish will call (if the flop has draws, will always raise with a set)

I think slow playing until the river is definately wasted bets

i don't mind the slow play on the flop but you miss bets by not raising the turn...

SB was getting out of the way anyway. Raising the turn might lead to a UTG 3bet which is ideal in your case. Top set vs no reasonable draw has you way ahead. Slowplaying until the river is missing bets along the way

I might just start jamming it on the flop and hope his preflop cap means something. You people coming along more often even for 2 on the flop when the bets are smaller and there are still two cards to come, and nobody will put you on a monster like they might if you smooth call the flop and raise the turn.
TylerK: its just gambling if i want to worry about money i'll go to work lol

I wept when you called the flop.
I cried when you called the turn.

I want to see how many bets AA/KK/QQ/AK or whatever wants to spew on early streets because they will just call without a set on the river.

I don't bother slow playing in limit. Its too hard to make up for missed bets on later streets.

Raise as often as you can they won't believe you anyways.

If he has AA/KK/QQ then with this flop I love the stop n go. Raise the flop and call when he 3 bets. Raise the turn. If they have a big hand they WILL 3bet and lead turn.

I used to run this line a lot. Now I cap it and hope he *still* leads.

I think this line works well in an aggressive game, so i guess it would depend on the game. A hype aggressive game Im capping all day long because he will still lead into ya.
