I still feel like I don't play this game very well. Was this hand poorly played? Should I just check-call the river?

(Hand wouldn't convert)

Looks fine to me. One end is the nuts, and the other end is a draw to the nuts. (On the turn, where I figure it's the 3-bet you're worried about).

The river is the last chance you can make the guy fold his high. I like it.

Yeah. I think I was just being results-oriented since I happened to get quartered.

Players don't fold enough for 1 bb to try and bluff them out of a hand. The 3bet on the turn is the only thing I don't like and the problem with having a nut low headsup on the river is that your bet has no value if your opponent isnt going to fold. If you had TPTK or something it would be a bit different.

The reason I 3-bet was because I had the nut low with a pair and the nut flush draw.

I'm still not 3-betting as I could be counterfeited for the low and still have to hit a draw for the high.

You're not getting raised here on the turn without someone else having the nut low draw as well. Especially not HU. If there was a 3rd person in there also calling I could see it happening, maybe, but you're still getting quartered here way more than you think.
