This was a gift from the big guy.... I was going to fold post flop ( 8 to 1 pot odds against a more than 20 to 1 chance of hitting a 6 on the turn, and then hoping that would hold up......good luck

but the phone rang, I had the FTR site up, and then I got the Empire "squeal" to act and I "called" instead of folded....OMG a 6. I told my buddy who called that he made me over $300..

that first hand you posted was pretty intense, but really i can't blame the guy with TT for sticking around til the river since he had overcards to the board.

compare that to this beat i took at the tropicana in atlantic city last night:

I limp in UTG with A3s, but get raised by MP. It's something like 6 people to the flop.

Flop is AAx. I checkraise the rpf'er, he just calls, as do 2-3 others.

Turn is a K and I fire out, MP and someone else just call.

River is an 8, I fire again and MP raises. It's heads-up now and I put him on AK but call for information.

Fucker has... 88!?!

Yeah, with all that action TT definately should have been folded, if he was a thinking player.
