It seems like yesterday AK's were not my thing
I did not pair them once, and I think I break even with them or close to it:
I might have misplayed hand number 2, although I'm sure a bet on the turn would not turn the flush draw away!

Hand 1: Fold at the turn. I assume to be drawing for a split pot.
Hand 2: Looks good. I might raise the river to see what happens but I can't fault check/calling
Hand 3: TERRIBLE FOLD AT FLOP. You're not just trying to catch a free card. AK still has value there. And for 1 more dollar when there's roughly 7$ in the pot already.
Hand 4: Nice River, I probably would have folded the turn since he didn't give my free card.. Plus it's a small pot.

I am not an expert on LLH, wait for one of the multiple LLH guru's to respond. But those are my initial reactions.

Stop playing the Party 1/2 game.

Hand 1: Standard
Hand 2: Bet the turn, good board for no pair. Bet the river too.
Hand 3: Horrible flop fold. I often just call that flop bet.
Hand 4: Yeah, I usually fold that turn too. Reads help, did he likely catch or is he taking a stab at it?

Even with your overs? Count your outs and count the pot. How do you figure this is a fold?

14$ in the pot. I don't count my ace or a 5 as a solid out. The only card I'm really hoping to hit is a K. You're hoping to put in 2$ into a 14$ pot to hit 3 outs is how I looked at it.

I've heard of discounting outs, but that's silly. I discount down to ~6 outs.

Am I THAT bad?

hand 2: I thought exactly that: If i had raised the turn maybe that guy would not chase his flush, but you know as well as I do that he would

hand 3: well...I've been having some bad beats chassing hands that did not flop, so I figured that guy had something... Maybe it's a temporary thing and I'll play it correctly later, but for now I chicken a lot

hand 4: I figured I had 10 outs, so it was correct to call. How is that wrong?

Thx for all the great advice!
It's incredible how much I have learned from this forum alone. No kidding, it's been better than any books I read.

Folding a flush draw on the turn with that pot + board would be a horrible mistake.
