sweet. that is a humongous pot for $0.50/$1!!!
last week i also flopped a nut str8 w AK(s), but this was at a $3/$6 table in arizona. got called down and scooped $75, woohoo!
that was literally five minutes after scooping a $142 multiway kill pot holding... AKs for the nut flush.
big slick misses a lot of flops, but when it hits, it hits HARD.

Nice flop. Correct me if I'm wrong any veteran holdem players, but in this situation, capping the bet with AKo isn't smart since you're just raising the pot size which gives players with suited cards better pot odds to draw out on you. I think if you have AKo in your specific situation, a call is in order which also will help you protect your TPTK boards.

Screw it, they're not folding and you have a shit ton of pot equity. The only problem here is how to get the most money in the pot. If I'm calling a 3-bet it's only to set-up the right guy to lead the turn so I can trap players for more bets on a safe card. Heck, just about any card.

you give low limit players WAY too much credit (in this case microlimit players). AKo pays off big in alot of these situations. Fnord hit the nail on the head - I capped because I knew I had a bunch of maniacs that were gonna be raising every street... and with that kind of pot equity, why wouldnt I raise? 4 players capping preflop? I highly doubt that im that far behind if im behind at all... and my read was right.
