UTG+1 in this hand has proven that he can play a range of hands like this, so I don't really feel I have to fold to him.
On the other hand MP1 is an unknown quantity...

Limit Hold'em CryptoLogic ($1/$2)
Converted by FTRConv
10-handed

StacksUTG+1: $104.75
UTG+2: $18.25
MP1: $54.36
MP2: $77.50
MP3: $52.50
CO: $68.75
BTN: $42
SB: $77
BB: $44.75
Hero: $57.75

Pre-Flop: Hero is UTG with A K
Hero raises, UTG+1 3-bets, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, BTN folds, SB folds, BB folds, Hero 4-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls,

Flop:(13.5SB) J 6 T (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks,

Turn:(6.75BB) 4 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks,

River:(6.75BB) 8 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 raises, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls,
Final Pot: 10.75 BB

Good/Bad/Indifferent laydown?
Blah blah Op Blah blah

The laydown's easy; I wonder about all that checking...

Capping preflop and checking through flop and turn. Thats certainly a unique strategy.

Yeah--not usually recommended, in that it gets you the worst of both possible worlds: You put as much money as you can into the pot, then make no effort to win it.

The betting's so screwy all around (is this a Crypto thing?) that the river is anyone's guess. If I had to take a position, I'd say the mp really caught a hand on the flop and is being clever--with something like JJ or TT. Good place for a bluff by him, though.

UTG+1 will play AQo this way, so I wanted to cap it because I believe there's a very good chance that I am ahead.
That MP1 cold-called makes me think he's probably not got anything better.

When the flop comes up that way I'm not sure how best to play it. I don't think UTG+1 is folding, he's aggro enough to re-raise with AQo here, so I just check and it goes around.

I'm starting to think I have showdown value so I'd call down a bet on turn and river from UTG+1 just to see.
The river raise from MP1 makes me wonder so I get out.

Of course Mp1 turns over KQs and UTG+1 turns over AKo and wins the pot. Laying this down to UTG+1 would seem wrong (and was proven so), but I felt that without a read it was wrong to cold-call Mp1s raise.

If I had bet the streets I think Mp1 would have gone but I think I may have seen some re-raising from UTG+1 which would put me in a tough spot. But I admit I play these sorts of hands badly.
