AK i re-raise a fairly tight raiser which he calls .
Its heads up

A K 10 flop

I cap his re-raise on the flop. Should i be thinking whether to fold this hand after he again three bets me on the turn. He showsdown QJs and this type of scenerio has happened before. Im playing most hands well now but everytime i lose a big hand i lose all my profit.

Can't fold it. If he is passive postflop, just call down after he leads into you again on the turn since all you really beat that isn't a bluff is AQ/AJ
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

You capped the flop and he led the turn? You're chopping at best, just call down.

Certainly one of the good things about Limit is that you can minimize the damage when your opponent is probably or possibly beating you by hunkering down into check-call mode.

It should also be noted. The fact that he 3 bet you, means you have position. This is huge.

calling his 3-bet saves you money when you miss, by a simple check call, and makes you money when you catch up with a straight or a full house. Sklansky and Miller both argue very vehemently that this play is correct in HEPFAP. Although they assume you don't get 3 bet except for very rarely.
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

Did you mean the flop 3-bet or the turn 3-bet?
Also, villain is leading so there's no check/call involved, just call or check behind.
Oh, no! Not another learning experience!

Folding this hand would be a clear leak.

i'd have to have some hell of a read type of thing where i know he wouldn't raise anything but the nuts period to fold the hand... given 99.9% of the time you will never have that kind of read i would never fold this hand...

With limit if you have a big hand you really can't fold due to the value in playing limit and only risking a limited amount of money. Whereas if it was NL poker and someone pushed all-in and you have a big hand it's a different scenario.
