Please explain why a 3-bet is better than a call down here? You don't have position on the BB, so you can't check behind on the river for a cheap showdown and there's the risk of a 4-bet on the turn to contend with.
In a 10-player ring game, a raise on the turn from a non-tricky player usually means something better than TP(G)TK. Are we, on average, looking at a trickier beasts even at $2-4 6-max?

BB is a TAG, and defending his blind. his range of possible hands are huge here. he could have anything from picking up a straight draw, flush draw, queens, king good kicker, and is raising the turn on a semi-bluff.

Stupid easy turn 3-bet. He has a single big diamond or worse king here almost always. If he caps, I check/raise a non-diamond river.
