First of all, use the FTR hand converter if you can.

Second of all, reraise PF with AKs and J8 would have folded (maybe)
calling two cold is only for hands like KQs that are not quite strong to reraise but too strong to fold

other than that there's nothing else you can do just play the next hand

when the 8 pairs and you get RRed. thats how.

first, RR AKs. that has so much equity pf, and no one else is afraid to call two, and frequently three, bets cold pre.

second, once you are doing your best to pump this pot, you may need to watch for the callers suddenly coming alive...in general. its usually a sign of super strength. here, the only thing that should scare you is a paired board, and viola, the river brings it. you do the right thing by raising the river, but when you get RRed when villain was calling, it should send off a bell.

i dont RR this river (and maybe thats my mistake), but i dont like dragging passive folks along only to have them wake up and represent a card/hand that beats me. usually, at these stakes, they have it.

its not the worst mistake in the world, but i think you could have called the river 3bet.

the irony is that a calculator gives 97% winning odds after the river...

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
3betting without the nuts on the river vs most opponents is going to get you into a lot of trouble. when board pairs and you get raised you can almost certainly believe he has the boat.

Also, by 3betting you forced Caramanica to fold here. Think of the net gain/loss on this river by your 3bet.

If you call, Caramanica will have to overcall with such a great price, net gain +1 BB, net possible loss 1 BB.

If you 3bet, Caramanica will have to fold with most of his range and if you're ahead you'll still get the 1 BB from your opponent but it sucks to get 4bet. net gain +1 BB, net possible loss 2 BB.

No need to increase variance in this situation with someone left to act for no extra gain.
