On the first hand of an SNG last night, I flopped a straight. When the betting came to me, I was like "Why can't I raise more?", and then I realized I accidentally joined a limit tournament instead of no limit.

It was pretty fun though. It seemed to be less stressful. I ended up taking second place. One of these days I'll have to try playing limit.

I really like limit tournaments. Probably because I'm a better limit player then NL. I still play more NL tournies though. I"m trying to get better and I'm looking forward to playing the NL tournies in the FTR league with you guys.

What was really bad once, I accidently joined a Omaha Hi/Lo limit SnG. I had no clue how to play . Needless to say I was out very early.

I accidently joined an omamha hi/lo game once. I didn't know how to play and still dont. I was playing another holdem SNG at the same time and was trying to bust out of the omaha game but couldn't.

I remember getting dealt four cards the first hand and I thought the site went haywire. I typed in the chat box something like:

Did anyone else get 4 cards what the hell is going on. Someone told me the rules. What a joke.

I accidently joined a limit holdem SNG and won that but I haven't played one again I figure it was just luck.

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
I accidently joined a Limit MTT before, buy in was $5 and top 8 got free entry into the 25K on Sundays at Empire.

I actually did quite well, finished final table and I wished I had finished 10 or 9th so I coulda gotten some cash instead of the $110 buy in. Needless to say there was no reason to stick around at the final table when the first 8 pay the same amount.

I think I finished 90th out of 250 at the next tournament.

Very funny. I've goined a limit SnG twice now. Once I won, the other time I finished 5th. I find my NL experience makes me a much more agressive player than the typical limit SnG player. I'll have to try these on purpose sometime to see if they have a better profit for me.

I did this back during my first "phase" of online play. I had a little bit of an idea how to play so I won a couple hands, had double my stack, and then got bored and put it on "post blinds and fold" and when I came back later I found that I'd placed 3rd. lol

I did the same thing, accidently joined a Omaha SnG and freaked when I got 4 cards. Once I realized where I was I did okay for a little, but there are too many cards to keep track of. I remember winning a hand that I thought I had lost.
-It seemed like a good idea at the time-
