I called this meaning to call a hand at a different table...and it was going so well until the river


PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with , .
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls, 3 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (5.40 SB) , , (5 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 raises, Hero 3-bets, MP3 calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (8.70 BB) (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

River: (12.70 BB) (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP3 folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 3-bets, Hero caps, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 23.70 BB

Results in white below:
MP1 has Js Kh (full house, jacks full of kings).
Hero has Jd 4c (full house, jacks full of fours).

The one thing that doesn't fit with just trips is the turn call with perfect position on the Hero by MP1. Why wouldn't he raise the turn last to act but would lead the river? The obvious answer is the river improved his hand.

I tend to be tighter than most and not as experienced as most posters in the forum, but I wouldn't cap the river.

The other weird thing is why MP1 led the river instead of going for a c/r, again with perfect position and the 2nd nut hand. It's pretty clear you weren't on a fd or sd with your flop action and he might have gotten another bet or 2 in here by going for the c/r.

It's very hard not to cap the river with a FH...

That having been said, I honestly think I would have puke called when the 2nd wheelhouse card hit. I make really wierd soulreads like that at limit though.
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?
