Over about 300 hours of play at the local B&M at the 4-8 tables I have averaged between $7-$14 dollars an hour profit. Is that good, bad, or avg.? How does that compare to online play. I assume you should avg. about dbl that an hour since you see twice as many flops? Plus you dont have as high a rake or need to tip the dealer.

if you're making 2BB an hour playing live you are doing very very well.

there are many different interpretations of what a good winrate online is, and ranges anywhere from 1 to 3 BB/100.

regardless, the ability to multi-table makes the difference.

WIth rake and tipping, It is very difficult to make anything more than 1bb hour even at the lowest limit. When the rake cap is 5 bucks at 10%, it is tough to beat these games and turn much of a profit. Your sample size is way too small, but if you can beat the game at all you are doing well.

Thats what I figured. I mainly play 4-8 for fun. But at the same time I love to leave with more then I came with.
