He check-raised the flop to likely protect his hand. He bet out on the turn. If he hit his flush, I would suspect check-raise on the turn after you raised his flop check-raise. I don't fear the flush and raise the turn. If he reraises the turn, I check-call the river. If he calls the turn and checks, I bet.
You're likely beat by the AI. I try to get as much out of the other guy as possible to make up for it. I don't know what he was doing in there if he couldn't beat AA.

i actually won this hand.... the guy that was all-in ended up having AK, and the guy who check-raised me on the flop had JJ. So in hindsight i really do wish i kept the agression up

Yeah, I can never help fearing trip K's here given the fireworks preflop and on the flop. But, since KK is pretty darn unlikely, I'm thinking the turn raise is a good value bet against most players. But, this obviously depends on the player you're up against. Only against a proven rock or TAg, would I fear the KK. Also, most players at that level, try to slow play trip K's, but this guy bet out. That third guy is probably throwing his chips in either way with only a bit left.
I had AKs the other night on a capped flop; the flop came AQx. I bet out and was raised by a sLAG, so I reraised and he 3-bet. "Oh boy, two pr or QQ", I was thinking. However, I kept firing at him to make him pay for anything less than those two hands. At the time I thought this was a bit tilty on my part, until he turned over AT.
