Hey guys, I just started working more on my PLO game and I had a hand come up and I was just wondering if I played it too strong preflop or if you would want to get your money in with the hand.PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($26.35)
BB ($30.95)
UTG ($11.20)
Hero (MP) ($47.25)
Button ($24.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP with AhAc5s2c
UTG raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.60, 1 fold, SB raises to $8.80, 2 folds, Hero raises to $27.40, SB calls $17.55 (All-In)

Too strong? or do you call the 4 bet and evaluate the flop

never flat the 4bet, stick it in

I usually jut call the UTG raise though as you're probably not 3betting anything but AAxx here and it's too easy for people to play perfectly against you. Therefore I like to flat here and stack off with my nut draws figuring, especially at 25/50plo that people will stack off way too light with weaker draws.

After the SB 4bets you obviously just get the money in and hope to win the flip, or if he's psychotic, hold against like KKxx. A cool way to learn more about PLO is to put yourself in UTG's shoes holding like 5678 and run your equity (twodimes.net) against you and SB both holding AAxx. I think you'll realize it's a perfectly acceptable gamble if you're UTG.

yeah I would generally agree with spenda, unless you've already been doing a bunch of three betting just see what flops. added bonuses in this specific spot are you'll be able to shove over a c bet on any flop you like if it's HU and you'll have a much better chance of getting action with a set.

If your going to play this hand this strong PF don't you want something to help back up the AA with something stronger than 5/2?
Maybe...... Maybe not....... Maybe fuck yourself.

Ac 2c is a good backup for this hand. However I wouldn't have played it quite this strong PF.
