this is hard to read and make out the amount of bets on each street but it looks like 10sb PF (pot is already out of control), 3sb on the flop making 13sb or 6.5bb, the c/r o the turn if this is 2/4 online and down is the 7, 95% or more of the time... when you 3 bet and he calls it makes me wonder what he is doing... KQ AK maybe that could make since but I would make since way he played this... on the river when he donks, I know I’m beat, what can he c/r the turn with and then call a 3 bet and donk into the raiser that doesn't have you beat? However, since 6 bb went in on the turn you are getting about 13:1 to make the call... no read I pay it off but if I have a good read, I might lay it down, you have odds to call no doubt in my mind so it's not really a leak...

It comes down to how well you can read your opponents and your gut trust in that read even though when the odds are correct to call your reads might justify a fold if you’re a person that can make the great read and act on it correctly…

it looks like your beat but there is just so much money in the pot a call isnt a horrible play. He could have a weirdly played A Q hopefully

Alternately, is this a good spot to call the check-raise on the turn and then raise his river bet if any non-K/Q river drops? In this instance, I'd have saved the third turn bet by still only calling down on the river. Had my aces held up on the river, I'm almost certain I'd have won the same size pot as he took down here with his WTF WTF K9o. If he 3-bets the river, I think I can safely drop it assuming that he has the 7 and not KQ as I'd pegged him on. (yeah, this was probably a bad read as he probably would've played the flop differently)

it sounds like you are asking if it is bettor to run a way behind way ahead line...

my answer is it depends, in this case that C/R sucks on the turn, i mean typicly it's goign to be a 7, KQ, or AK somthing alone thos lines... so it might not be a bad idea to peal one off and then raise the river when it looks like you have the best hand, again like you said he 3 bets you know he has the 7 and you can save a 2bb this way, when you're behind, and when he calls and wins you save 1bb, when you win you win same amoutnt as 3 bet/bet... so really like the 2nd idea the best...

I really don't think AA is good on a double paired board like this, but I agree that I wouldn't be able to fold the river for 1bet HU. Crying Call, but I think we're beat. From the action, I put UTG+1 on flopped trips. Limp/Call pre-flop (suited connector?) Check/call flop, check/raise turn, (but no turn cap because of a bad kicker? )
