Play this any differently? I seem to have trouble knowing when to let go of aces.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, A.
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 4 folds, Hero 3-bets, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 5, Q, Q (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 3 (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.75 BB) 9 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB

Results in white below:
UTG+1 has Ts Td (two pair, queens and tens).
Hero has Ac As (two pair, aces and queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 8.75 BB.

I play it the same until the river....Almost nobody would check a Q or flush on this river, so I bet the river.

i cap the flop. call the turn if he bets into me. bet the river if he checks to me.

Raise the turn? Usually you'll KNOW if he has the queen or not if he three-bets you there. If he's also afraid of the queen he'll call you there. Also bet the river. Going for a check-raise with three clubs on board would be dumb... because you'll get reraised back by a flush even if you have the queen.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
