I would 3-bet the flop.

Your line is risky, you can't be sure that MP3 will bet the turn and if he doesn't you've given a free card in a 10BB pot with an extremely vunerable hand.

I also think it makes the hand harder to play if an ugly card hits the turn. What's your turn line if a Q, K or an Ace falls?

I don't think I raise the turn. Nobody is going to fold at that point and there are a LOT of scary river cards since you know either BB or UTG has overcards(possibly already a T) and one probably has an inside straight draw. Add in that MP3 is likely to have a pocket pair that might or might not already have you beat....I call the turn for sure and the river too unless the river suddenly brings a ton of action.

Here's a fun little 99 hand. If I can't win, at least I like making the other guy win less money. This is the kinda stuff that happens once you are a known 'bluffer' and ALWAYS back up your PFR's with flop and turn bets.

This board is obviously bad for my hand. I just wanted to see the whole board to see if I could spike a nine on these guys.

Raising Nines in Position is Fun

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Lonnie is CO with 9, 9.
UTG calls, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, 3 folds, Lonnie raises, 3 folds, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) T, A, Q (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+2 checks, Lonnie bets, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) Q (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+2 checks, Lonnie checks.

River: (5.25 BB) T (3 players)
UTG bets, UTG+2 calls, Lonnie folds.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB

Results in white below:
UTG has Qh As (full house, queens full of aces).
UTG+2 has Ks 8c (two pair, queens and tens).
Outcome: UTG wins 7.25 BB.

When the flop is that ugly, sometimes I just surrender on the flop.

Have you been acting ridiculous at this table, and has MP3 caught onto it? I have to think that unless this is the case, anything he cold called with preflop you are ahead of on the flop and it's worth a 3bet.

I don't like the turn checkraise because the donks are between you and MP3, therefore the checkraise is less likely to fold them out. I would just lead the turn.
TylerK: its just gambling if i want to worry about money i'll go to work lol

You can pass the 3bet on the flop to exploit a bigger edge on the turn.

Not crazy at all about the bet/call on the flop. I 3-bet here to see where I'm at. Also, I can't see giving him the potential freebie on the turn with the check. I bet out the turn here and see what happens.

I'll three bet the flop also only because I dont want to give odds for anyone with two overs to call. Although I believe the T here to be a safe card for you.
