Villian was kind of a loose chaser, but after playing the hand I wondered if betting the river was correct - Apperntly if he makes a str8 he reraises me, but I may get a call from 2 pair putting me on 1 pair

I would have bet the river too, but a check would also be good. Either way you are in trouble if he hit the straight, so betting out at least might get some extra cash if he missed the straight and puts you on one pair. There is also the chance that he made a weaker set and you will get a call too. I think you really need to go with your read on this one.

4rth is interesting. I'm inclined to just gas gas gas.
River is fine if this guy is a station, otherwise I like a check.

The problem is that if he hits his str8 I am losing 2 BB

The river bet is fine. When he just calls on 5th, he is either extremely bad or does not have a low. This means he probably paired at some point, so there are good chances that he will have two pair on the river. You should bet to try to win an extra bet from him when this happens. He isn't going to end up with a straight on the river all that often, which is the only time betting loses money compared to check-calling.

I would not raise if there were limpers infront, with the K and 7 live and a chance to chase off most of the lows early I think its worth it

"To chase away lows" is basically never a reason to complete with any hand on 3rd street, because people don't fold the hands you're talking about for an additional partial bet.

The only time I play is if my pair is higher than all of my opponents doorcards, otherwise I almost always fold. If I play I will usually come in for a raise, but I might consider just limping or even folding if there are a lot of premium low cards out. Big pairs are marginal, reverse implied odds hands and should usually be avoided in this game, and when you do play, you should play cautiously on most streets.

so in this case, OOP vs multiple lows you would fold ?
