I would just jam from 5th street on. The benefit of this play looks trivial in light of the fact that you're passing up the opportunity to jam against multiple opponents.

Given my position I was concerned that it would scare off the two lesser hands and I would split the pot with the remaining villian

THis is a very valid concern here. I probably wouldn't try to jam the pot too much here for a couple of reasons. 1) as you stated, you don't want to scare off potential profit, and 2) you are not assured the low.
Now, that being said I might have raised it up a few times, but I wouldn't have capped. A lot of it depends on the players in the pot, which is something I don't know. If the person with the 8855 board is the kind of person who will call down almost anything just to be sure that the aces don't have two pair, then raising can get some extra money in the pot.
If he or she is skittish, you don't want to push them out, because as soon as it gets heads up you get nothing else.
However, we also don't want to forget our open-ended straight draw, which could be good for a scoop, which of course makes a nice profit no matter how many people are in the pot.
Another thing to consider is the scary boards of your opponents. THe guy with aces probably doesn't want to get too crazy because he might be afraid of the other person having a boat.
ANd like I said earlier, you are not assured the high here. You're ahead for the high, but it's possible that the aces could catch better.
So, all things considered, I would say that the conditions are favorable for a couple of spaced-out raises, because there's a decent chance that it won't be reraised and you have the best low at the moment as well as a decent draw on the high. It's enough that even if you were to scare away the others, you will certainly still make some profit from the split, and catching the right card you will make a lot of profit from the scoop. Raising here is definitely a positive, but just don't get too carried away with it.
