I dont really understand his bet/call on 4th, I would bet the river, while it is possible he has queens and fours I doubt it, I think he probably has a pair or worse 2 pair

An alternate line to take in this spot is to call 4th and then raise 5th, although there is the possibility that you will fall high on 5th, which can be awkward.
6th and 7th are clear bets.
