well it was check to him, i just figured he was trying to steal it. I just "felt" that he didnt have either the 10 or 6, and once to lower cards than my pp fell on the turn and river. I just thought i had him. I cant really explain it better, it was a gut feeling thats all.

What I'm getting at here is: your intuition, or "gut feeling" is important, and CAN give you an edge. Brunson talks about this in Super System, and talks about it as a function of having tremendous recall; that is, to have been in this particular situation before, and having your subconscious pick it out and give you a "feeling." I had a similar situation the other night when I was coaching my roommate: I had him call a river all-in with middle pair because I had a "feeling" that the opponent had missed and was trying to buy it, and I was correct.

The reason I mention this: if you are going to use your "gut feelings" as a tool to assist you in your play, it's important to view them rationally and understand what they are and where they're coming from. Too often it is easy to make an INCORRECT bet or call and use "gut feeling" as a way to rationalize it, which is wrong.

Checking the flop was fine, but when it came back to you, you really needed to check-raise to protect your hand if you want to continue. When the two falls on the turn, bet out and fold to a raise. You are either slightly ahead or way behind here and would prefer to take the pot down without seeing another card.

No, it was correct if you are trusting your gut for the right reasons. Just make sure that you are consciously doing so.

This seems like one of those fold situations.

You're either way behind or slightly ahead.

Am I off here?

i would have checkraised that guy on the flop. if you really think he has nothing, then that means your second pair is probably good. don't give any of those limpers a cheap look at the turn which could be an ace or king.

yeah. Either check raise the flop and/or bet out the turn.
