I play both 2/4 3/6 and every once in a while 5/10 7S8. I play on Pokerstars. I was wondering specifically about the bring in and raising, and how this changes the game (or if it should).

My first thought was that it should'nt really change the game. What is solid in one should be in the other, but I am now wondering if I was mistaken. In 2/4 it seems to me if you have a marginal hand here there is more value to call the raise with two or three other callers.

In 3/6 with the same situation it seems like a fold. Is this incorrect? I would think that the extra two dollars to call the 3/6 raise vs. the one dollar to call the 2/4 would justify a fold. But do the callers in front (no raises) also warrant a call here?

When I say marginal hand I mean something like 994 or AK2 . A hand that should be easy to dump on fourth street if you catch bad.

I am also of the opinion that poker stars 2/4 players who call an early raise have a wider range of (weaker) hands than those on 3/6.

TLR is an unknown quantity at this point
The ratio between Ante-bring in-small bet is different in the two levels
while ante is 0.25 in both and BI is $1 in both the SB is 2 and 3 respectively

So it makes sense to have wider starting range in the 2/4
